Air Cover Engineering is based in Frankford, Missouri [67MU]. We are an aircraft maintenance company specializing in the restoration, manufacturing, and production of experimental aircraft. Built on a strong foundation of precision engineering and aviation innovation, our team is dedicated to delivering high-performance and light sport aircraft to the marketplace.

  • Our maintenance division provides comprehensive aircraft maintenance and support services with a focus on safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance. Our experienced technicians deliver thorough inspections, routine maintenance, and specialized services to ensure aircraft remain airworthy and operational. We are committed to minimizing downtime while maintaining the highest standards of quality and workmanship.

  • Our manufacturing division is dedicated to producing high-quality, precision-built components with a strong focus on craftsmanship, consistency, and reliability. Production will begin following the completion and commissioning of our new manufacturing facility, which is being developed to support efficient workflows, rigorous quality control standards, and future growth. This expansion will allow us to better serve our customers with increased capacity and streamlined production timelines.

  • Our current initiatives include the development of a next-generation line of replica P-51 Mustangs and a two-seat light sport aircraft, building upon the legacy of the renowned T-51 Mustang and the Tornado. These aircraft are designed to honor the spirit of classic aviation while integrating modern advancements in safety, performance, and materials.

We provide comprehensive maintenance services for General Aviation, Agricultural, and Vintage/Warbird Aircraft, with a commitment to quality, reliability, and safety at the core of everything we do. Our primary focus is supporting General Aviation operators with meticulous scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, ensuring every aircraft we service performs safely, efficiently, and dependably. For Agricultural operators, we understand the demands of a short flying season and deliver rapid, thorough maintenance to keep your aircraft working safely and consistently when it matters most. And for Vintage and Warbird Aircraft, we combine precision craftsmanship with deep respect for their heritage, offering specialized care that preserves both their authenticity and airworthiness.

Where Ideas Take Shape

From start to finish, the time-lapse showcases the careful installation of our ACE-Mustang wing flaps. One of the most crucial components for aircraft performance and control. Skilled hands, precise processes, and an uncompromising commitment to safety.

We are thrilled to announce the completion of our state-of-the-art aircraft facility. We are currently working on our prototype of the new and improved ACE Mustang. We will not be doing production until our prototype is complete.

We will still be supplying certain T-51 parts.
